<p> Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick says he doesn't have an issue with the team potentially exploring the draft for a young quarterback, he tells the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.

Fitzpatrick agreed to a $59 million extension with $24 million in guaranteed money, a contract given while the Bills were still in contention in the AFC East. Now, Buffalo has dropped seven in a row, and Coach Chan Gailey and general manager Buddy Nix are keeping all their options open.

"No, not at all," Fitzpatrick said. "It’s just something I can’t worry about. Just like last year I wasn’t worried about them drafting a quarterback. I've sat down with Chan, I've talked to Buddy. We’re trying to get this thing going in the right direction right now."

Even with money tied up in Fitzpatrick, the Bills will be tempted to look hard at quarterbacks in this year's draft. Barring a trade, they won't have a shot at Andrew Luck, but there are other quarterbacks like Matt Barkley, Robert Griffin III, Landry Jones and Nick Foles who could be worth a look for the future for a Bills team that has lacked stability at the position since Hall of Famer Jim Kelly retired.
