Florida's Hernandez to declare for draft
From Orlando Sentinel:
After emerging as the nation’s best tight end in 2009, Florida’s Aaron Hernandez is expected to forgo his senior season and apply for the NFL draft.
Hernandez already has informed the team about his intentions to leave for April’s draft.
Hernandez won the John Mackey Award given to the nation’s best tight end thanks to his 68 receptions, 850 yards and five touchdowns as Tim Tebow’s top target this season.
If everything checks out, Hernandez will join cornerback Joe Haden as the second NFL-bound Gator junior. Haden declared Sunday.
