Former Alabama standout Christion Jones healthy again

Former Alabama standout Christion Jones is healthy again and recovered from a hamstring injury and is fully medically cleared. The former Alabama Special Teams Player of the Year was with the Miami Dolphins during the preseason last year. He returned six kickoffs for 150 yards and ranked first in the NFL with an 18-yard punt return average. Jones scored on a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, but it was nullified by a penalty. Cut by the Dolphins has had two stints with Miami and spent time with the Minnesota Vikings. Jones plays faster than his 40-yard dash time suggests. He has good quickness and can create separation as a wide receiver. He has also played defensive back. Jones had the fastest short shuttle and three-cone drill at the NFL scouting combine in 2015.
