Former Cowboys LB Godfrey Myles dead
Godfrey Myles, a linebacker on three Dallas Cowboys teams that won Super Bowls during the 1990’s, passed away Thursday night.
The club announced on its Web site that Myles is dead at 42 after suffering a massive heart attack on Wednesday.
A third-round pick from the University of Florida in 1991, Myles was primarily a special teams player for those loaded Dallas teams. He started 11 games in 1995 but retired after the following season. The National Football Post sends its condolences to the friends and family of Myles.
