Former Lions WR faces sentencing on sexual conduct charge
Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Tommie Boyd has pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sexual conduct for his involvement with a 15-year-old girl.
Boyd is set to face sentencing in Macomb County (Mich.) Circuit Court today, according to the Associated Press. Boyd entered the plea two months ago in a deal in which authorities agreed to drop five other charges against him.
Per the report, the victim and her parents agreed with the deal. Boyd offered the girl $5,000 for sex and then paid her $200.
