Fox, Del Rio fined for berating officials
The NFL has fined Denver Broncos head coach John Fox $30,000 and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio $25,000 for publicly berating the replacement officials in last Monday night's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
"There's nothing much to say, other than that the league has its policy, there are procedures," Fox via ESPN.com. "It's kind of an in-house thing."
NFL executive vice president of football operations Ray Anderson said the league is looking into the actions of New England coach Bill Belichick, who grabbed the arm of one of the officials after the Patriots loss to Baltimore on Sunday night.
Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan could also face some sort of discipline from the league regarding his actions toward an official, as the league has set for a policy that berating, criticizing or abusing the replacement officials will not be tolerated.
