Fox regrets comments made about Tebow

Denver Broncos coach John Fox said he regrets the comments he made to NFL.com's Jeff Darlington while watching film with the reporter, according to the Denver Post.

In Fox's original comments to NFL.com, he spoke of having to change the offense and Tebow not being able to run "that other crap" regarding a regular pro-style offense.

"It's my fault," Fox said regarding the statement. "What bothers me about that quote is I love the guy. All I was talking about was how this is a different way to run the ball. Everybody wants to put a name on it. All we're doing is tweaking the running game so we match up with what Tim does well. And I'm telling you, he's getting better as a passer. He is improving."

Fox also said he was Tebow's "biggest fan." And why not? Since Tebow has taken over as the starting quarterback, the Broncos have gone from 1-4 to 5-5.
