Frustrated Belichick grabs replacement official

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick grabbed a replacement official as the official headed off the field following Sunday night's 31-30 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

According to ESPNBoston.com, Belichick tried to speak with one of the officials, but the officials never broke stride in the aftermath of a game with 24 accepted penalties called. Belichick, according to what a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter, wanted to know if Justin Tucker's game-ending 27-yard field goal would be reviewed.

"Bill just wanted an explanation," ESPN's source said, "and no one would answer him."

A frustrated Belichick wouldn't comment too much on the officiating.

"I'm not going to comment about that," he said. "You saw the game. What did we have, 30 penalties called in the game?... You'll have to talk to the officials about the way they called the game, talk to the league about it, I don't know."
