Gage, Fuller, Ford among Titans' cuts
Mike Munchak is not wasting time turning over a new leaf in the Tennessee Titans' organization.
Many of the changes have been subtle, but with final cuts, the sweeping moves are becoming evident. The Titans discarded three veterans who have played key roles over the past several seasons, releasing wide receiver Justin Gage, defensive end Jacob Ford (injured) and safety Vincent Fuller, according to TitanInsider.com
Gage had 55 receptions his first year as a Titan in 2007, coming over as a free agent from Chicago. Meanwhile, Fuller had been a mainstay as a nickelback until the middle of last season, and Ford had put up 15.5 sacks over the past three seasons, but suffered a hamstring injury during preseason.
Tennessee also let go of safety Robert Johnson, defensive end Panel Egboh and cornerback Frank Walker on Saturday.
