Garrett Wolfe refused to pay bar bill before arrest
Garrett Wolfe tweeted Saturday night about being invited to end-of-the-world parties. Whether or not he made one of those is unknown, but he did find a heck of a bash.
When it came to paying his bill at Miami Beach club Cameo, things got out of hand.
The club contends Wolfe refused to pay a $1,600 tab. That’s when bouncers removed him and police were called. According to Miami Beach Police Det. Juan Sanchez, Wolfe became angry with Cameo employees and “charged the officers.”
Wolfe has been charged with retail theft, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct. He was still being held on $11,500 bond Sunday night. It appears in the booking photos that Wolfe’s face was injured.
The running back is a free agent after spending four seasons with the Chicago Bears. He was a third-round draft pick by general manager Jerry Angelo in 2007.
