Geno Atkins to make preseason debut Sunday

The Cincinnati Bengals are set to get Pro Bowl defensive tackle Geno Atkins back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Atkins tore his ACL last October.

He's slated to play a few series against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

“Having him back’s a huge deal for us,” defensive coordinator Paul Guenther said. “It’s good to see him back. It definitely means a big deal to us.

“I’m sure he’s ready to get back and get his confidence up. I’m sure he’s anxious to get back in there and play with the guys.”
