Giants' Boley likely out a few weeks
From The Star-Ledger:
Michael Boley was just getting into the swing of things after sitting out the preseason with a hip injury and the season opener because of a suspension. Each week, the Giants' weak-side linebacker was improving, getting better and looking faster.
Now, his progress is in danger of being slowed once again.
Boley will likely be sidelined for a few weeks with a knee injury, according to someone informed of Boley's status. The person, who requested anonymity because Boley is still undergoing tests and the Giants did not give final word on the time frame for his recovery, did not provide the exact injury but said Boley has been told he'll be out a few games.
The former Falcon, who signed with the Giants in free agency, had five tackles in the victory over the Chiefs. Remarkably, four of them were for a loss of yards. He also defensed two passes, including one in the end zone that bounced off his helmet.
