Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul injures hand in fireworks accident

New York Giants star defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul injured his hands in a fireworks accident. The Giants' franchise player isn't expected to lose his hands at this point, but doctors are still meeting with him and determining his prognosis. Pierre-Paul is expected to be able to resume his career. Pierre-Paul is a two-time Pro Bowl selection who hasn't signed his $14.8 million franchise tender. Pierre-Paul had 12.5 sacks and three forced fumbles last season. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
