Giants extend contract of D.J. Ware
A small piece of business has trickled in now that we’re closing in on 32 hours from the end of the league year and a potential lockout.
The New York Giants announced that running back D.J. Ware has been signed to a contract extension.
Ware appeared in 14 games last season, a career high, and led the team with an average of 20.6 yards on kickoff returns. He’s viewed primarily as a special teamer and he will need to work to make the roster. At least he knows where to report for work now when the labor situation is settled. That could take a while.
