Giants hire Ben McAdoo as offensive coordinator

The New York Giants have hired former Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo as their new offensive coordinator, the team announced.

The Miami Dolphins and Giants interviewed McAdoo for their offensive coordinator jobs. He also interviewed with the Cleveland Browns for their head-coaching position.

McAdoo was the tight ends coach for six seasons in Green Bay before being shifted to quarterbacks coach in 2012 where he coached Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
