Giants placing Robert Ayers on injured reserve with torn pectoral

New York Giants defensive end Robert Ayers tore his pectoral against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will be placed on injured reserve.

Ayers has five sacks this season, tying Jason Pierre-Paul for the team lead.

The Giants don't have much without Ayers in the defensive lineup.

They'll have to give more playing time to Damontre Moore and Kerry Wynn.
