Giants safety Stevie Brown sprains knee

New York Giants safety Stevie Brown sprained his left knee against the New York Jets during an interception Saturday night.

Brown didn't go back in the game.

"I have no more further information," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said. "I feel bad for Stevie. He has been a tremendous addition to our team. The guy has another interception and then has that happen."

Brown led the team with eight interceptions last season.

The Giants would have to go with Ryan Mundy in his absence.

The injury affects the Giants greatly consdiering that safety Antrel Rolle, who's recovering from a sprained ankle.

Meanwhile, cornerback Jayron Hosley sprained his ankle.
