Giants safety Will Hill suspended for six games

New York Giants safety Will Hill has been suspended without pay for six games after losing his appeal.

He violated the NFL substance-abuse policy.

Hill is eligible to return to the active roster on Oct. 13 following an Oct. 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Hill is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.

Hill has a history of failed drug tests.
