Giants sign George Selvie to $1.4 million deal

The New  York Giants signed veteran defensive end George Selvie to a one-year, $1.4 million deal that includes a $200,000 signing bonus. He has a $1 million base salary, plus incentives. Selvie is a former St. Louis Rams seventh-round pick from South Florida. He started 29 of the past 32 games for the Dallas Cowboys. Selvie has played in 68 games with 29 starts at left defensive end. He has 117 tackles and 13 sacks for his career with 24 tackles for losses and two forced fumbles. He had three sacks last season and seven sacks in 2013.
