The New York Giants added wide receiver Kevin Ogletree to the roster with Victor Cruz out for the season with a torn patellard tendon.

The Giants added Ogletree after working out several other players, including Deveron Carr, Carlos Fields, Dan Cox, Victor Hampton, Paul Hazel, Ken Lynn, Gerald Riviers, Dontavis Sapp and Trevin Wade, according to a source.

Ogletree caught 32 passes for 436 yards and four touchdowns in 2012 for the Dallas Cowboys. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Lions.
