Giants still waiting to talk to Jason Pierre-Paul

The New York Giants are in a holding pattern. They're still waiting to talk to defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul since he got hurt in a fireworks accident on July 4. Pierre-Paul apparently doesn't want to see team officials, including trainer Ronnie Barnes after he flew to South Florida to meet with the star pass rusher. Pierre-Paul could miss training camp and the start of the preseason due to injuries to his hands. Meanwhile, Pierre-Paul won't be charged by Coral Springs, Fla., police after it was determined that the incident didn't take place in their jurisdiction. Pierre-Paul is the Giants' franchise player, but is unsigned. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for the Baltimore Sun
