Giants take a look at Dre' Bly
With some need for depth in their secondary, the New York Giants got a close look at some defensive backs when they worked out four cornerbacks, including 11-year veteran Dre’ Bly, according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger.
Bly was released by the Detroit Lions and he played in San Francisco last year where he appeared in 16 games, made six starts and had three interceptions.
Also in the bunch were Brian Witherspoon, C.J, Wilson and Cletis Gordon. Those were not the only players hosted by the Giants. In total, 10 players worked out. They brought in tight end Marquez Branson after having to promote Bear Pascoe to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. Quarterbacks Jarrett Brown and Levi Brown also got looks.
