Giants' Webster, McKenzie don't make trip to Washington

From the New York Post:

The Giants today boarded a special chartered Amtrak train for their trip to Washington, D.C. and it comes as no surprise that cornerback Corey Webster and right tackle Kareem McKenzie were not part of the passenger list. Neither made the trip and thus, as expected, neither will play in tomorrow night's game against the Redskins at FedEx Field.

Both starters came out of last week's 45-38 loss to the Eagles with knee injuries, neither was able to practice all week and neither was on any sort of schedule to be able to be able to make it back for this game.

McKenzie's spot on the offensive line will be filled by rookie Will Beatty, who started once before in place of McKenzie earlier this season. Replacing Webster is a bit trickier.
