Giants will be without Ahmad Bradshaw vs. Saints

A cracked bone in his foot will sideline New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw for the fourth consecutive game.

The Giants ruled the running back out for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. New York is trying to rally after falling flat on its face last week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Brandon Jacobs will once again handle the bulk of the work on the ground.

Jacobs ran for only 21 yards on 12 rushes last week in the home loss to the Eagles. He was booed by the MetLife Stadium crowd, just the latest in some back-and-forth between the big back and the Giants’ faithful.

That's the best thing they do around here is boo,” Jacobs said after the game, according to ESPn New York.

His tune changed Friday, though.

“We've got a lot of people that's pulling for us. We've got a lot of great fans that's out there and want us to go out there and do good," Jacobs said. "For all of the people that have supported us from Day 1, we've got to go out there and do our best for them."

We’ll see if Bradshaw can make it back next week.
