Greg Hardy meeting with Cowboys today

Former Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy is meeting with the Dallas Cowboys today, the team announced. Hardy won an appeal of his misdemeanor domestic violence case when he reached a financial settlement with his former girlfriend, Nicole Holder, and prosecutors couldn't get her to testify at a jury trial. Hardy is a free agent, but could be facing a suspension. The Panthers don't want Hardy back. The San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders have both said they aren't pursuing Hardy, but the Cowboys could be the right fit. Hardy was initially found guilty by a judge of assaulting and threatening to kill Holder. He has met with the NFL about his case. Hardy remains on the NFL commissioner's exempt list.
