Greg Jennings to sign with Miami Dolphins
Veteran wide receiver Greg Jennings is taking his talents to South Beach, per multiple reports Wednesday evening.
The former Packers and Vikings wideout was in Minnesota this past season, but the Vikes released him in March. Jennings will sign a deal worth $8 Million over 2 years with the Dolphins, as Miami attempts to revitalize their ever-changing wide receiver corps.
Jennings will serve as the wise veteran after the recent departures of both Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace from Miami. The Dolphins also signed TE Jordan Cameron and WR Kenny Stills this off-season, so Ryan Tannehill will not have a glut of capable receivers in 2015.
Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin coached Jennings in Green Bay, when Philbin was the Packers' offensive coordinator from 2007-2011. The 31-year old Jennings looks to improve on his 742 yard, 6 TD performance last season as a Viking.
