Haley, Roethlisberger finally talk

Everyone in Pittsburgh can now relax.

New Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger have finally met with each other and sat and talked. Word of that meeting comes from Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, who tweeted about it.

It will be interesting to see how the two mesh both in personality and in offensive philosophy as the Steelers have been said to want to get back to more running the football and trying to better protect Roethlisberger, who is often at his best when buying time to make plays to his receivers downfield. Big Ben's improv style, though, often comes with the price of heavy hits and the risk of injuries, as he was not the same player after a high ankle sprain in December against Cleveland.
