Hall of Fame announces presenters for induction weekend

Sterling Sharpe will be the man to present his brother Shannon Sharpe when he is enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame during induction weekend ceremonies Aug. 6 in Canton, Ohio.

Chicago Bears defensive end Richard Dent has selected Joe Gilliam, his defensive coordinator at Tennessee State, to present him. The Hall of Fame released the list of presenters today. Former Washington Redskins linebacker Chris Hanburger has selected his son Chris to present him. Steve Sabol, the president of NFL Films, will present his father Ed. Deion Sanders selected his agent Eugene Parker and Marshall Faulk chose his agent Rocky Arceneaux. Per the Hall of Fame, they are the third and fourth players ever to select their agents to present them. The late Les Richter will be presented by his son Jon.

Presenters deliver a video recorded message that lasts about five minutes before each player’s bronze bust is unveiled.
