Harrison still aims to play in Steelers' opener

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison is still optimistic that he could play in the Pittsburgh Steelers season opener Sunday night, Sept. 9 against Denver.

Harrison has missed all of camp and is on the PUP list with a knee injury that last week required arthroscopic surgery to relieve pain behind his knee cap.

“I might need a little prep, we got a couple of new things (on defense), but other than that I think I’ll be all right,” Harrison told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “You’ve got to get back in timing with the other guys and everything else, and a few days of practice would help.”
