Hernandez bail hearing scheduled for 2 p.m. ET

Aaron Hernandez's attorneys will appear in superior court to have a judge hear an appeal after he was denied bail after his arrest Wednesday on first-degree murder charges, per NBC News.

Hernandez's attorney, Michael Fee, argued yesterday that the tight end, who was released by the New England Patriots, was not a flight risk since he owns his own home in the area and lives there with his fiancee and baby. That was to no avail as a judge ordered him held without bail after being charged with the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd.

Now, other reports are out that a second man is being held in a Connecticut jail in connection with the crime, and that Hernandez is being investigated for a connection to two other murders last year in Boston.
