Is Sparano's fate tied to Sunday's game vs. Broncos?
Could Tim Tebow's beginning be Tony Sparano's end?
The Miami Herald, citing a source close to owner Stephen Ross, reports that Dolphins owner might have to re-assess Sparano's job security if his winless club falls to 0-6 with a loss Sunday to the Denver Broncos.
The Dolphins have struggled at home, winning just once in Miami last year, and of course, with no wins in two tries at home this season. Plus, Sunday just coincidentally is Tebow's first start of the season as the Broncos quarterback. The Dolphins are even honoring the 2008 University of Florida national championship team that day, the one Tebow quarterbacked to that title. (On a side note -- the timing of that still seems odd. Why honor them three years later?)
The Dolphins are 0-5 and have looked increasingly non-competitive, especially in Monday night's 24-6 loss with backup QB Matt Moore at the controls in the loss to the New York Jets.
