Is there a side benefit to CJ's holdout?
It could be that the Tennessee Titans offensive line is blocking better. It could be that Chris Johnson is hitting the hole quicker and making his reads better.
But over the past four games, Johnson has had three 100-yard rushing efforts, including a 153-yard performance in Sunday's 23-17 win over Buffalo.
TitanInsider.com suggests that part of the reason is that due to Johnson's holdout it took him longer to get into game shape, but that now that he has finally gotten there, CJ could be benefiting from not having the wear and tear that training camp and preseason would have taken on him.
Therefore, might it be reasonable to expect Johnson to continue or even surpass his recent run of success that has him with 486 yards over the past four games.
