Jadeveon Clowney expected to return this week
Houston Texans rookie outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney is expected to play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Clowney has been sidelined after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.
“That’s the goal,” Clowney said. “We’re working on that. I feel better. I’ve been working every day to get back on the field. I feel a lot more confident in my knee. I feel like I can do a lot more than I did when I came back for the Tennessee game.”
The soreness has subsided for Clowney.
“A lot right now,” he said. “It’s not 100 percent, but it’s getting better. I want to get back out there and help my teammates.”
