Jadeveon Clowney placed on injured reserve
The Houston Texans have placed rookie outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney on injured reserve, ending his first NFL season.
It's been a disappointment for Clowney, who has been injured almost since the moment he stepped on the practice field this preseason. He's had a concussion, a knee injury and other ailments that slowed him down all year. Clowney's right knee never progressed the way the Texans had hoped and he will have surgery on it.
Clowney's rookie season ends with seven tackles and zero sacks in four games played.
