Jaguars accuse Texans of playing dirty

For years, the Houston Texans had a reputation of being soft and being a finesse team.

Now, apparently they have a new tag to wear - dirty. For the second time, an AFC South opponent has accused the division-leading Texans of being a dirty team and taking cheap shots. The latest to do so is is the Jacksonville Jaguars, who made accusations at unnamed Texans players after Sunday's 24-14 Houston victory.

They're some nasty guys," Jacksonville's Jeremy Mincey said via the Houston Chronicle. "I was on the ground, and some guy stepped on my head. They're very dirty."

Of course, last week, it was the Tennessee Titans and the Texans who accused each other of dirty play entering that game, as those two clubs have had a history of issues in the past with fights, ejections and accusations over cut blocks.

Now, the Jaguars are getting in on the name-calling as well.

"I still don't like them, and I have no respect for them at all," Jags defensive tackle Terrance Knighton said. "It was just the dirty stuff they were doing. I don't want to get into specifics; I just don't like them."
