Jaguars claim OT Robinson off waivers
The Jacksonville Jaguars have claimed offensive tackle William Robinson off waivers from the New Orleans Saints.
Showing my age, but why am I reminded of a robot warning, "Danger! Danger!" with that name?
In any event, Robinson is a third-year pro, who has also spent time with the Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks in his NFL career. He was a four-year letterman at San Diego State.
With the Jags having just one game left, the move is most likely to have Robinson be able to go through the off-season program in 2012 so the Jaguars can determine if they like what they see for next season in him.
To make room on the roster, the Jaguars waived defensive back Robert McClain.
