Jaguars cut Red Bryant

The Jacksonville Jaguars have cut veteran defensive end Red Bryant. He started every game last season during the first year of a four-year, $19 million contract that included $5.255 million guaranteed. He was due a $500,000 roster bonus Sunday. The release creates $4.5 million in salary-cap space. Bryant's exit comes after the Jaguars signed Jared Odrick and re-signed Tyson Alualu.
