Jaguars release Kampman
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Thursday that they have released veteran defensive end Aaron Kampman.
Kampman has had problems with injuries since joining the Jaguars. He had torn the ACL in his left knee while with Green Bay in 2009 and returned to play in 2010 before he tore the ACL in his right knee.
Last year, he came back again, but a hamstring problem forced the Jaguars to place him on injured reserve yet again.
The 32-year-old Kampman, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, has played in 123 career games and made 58 sacks. Four times he started all 16 games in a season, and his 58 career sacks.
