Jaguars top draft pick Dante Fowler tore ACL today

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie first-round draft pick Dante Fowler, the third overall pick of the draft, tore his anterior cruciate ligament shortly into his first NFL practice. Fowler got hurt during a rookie minicamp. The defensive end will miss the entire season with a left knee injury. Fowler was carted off the field to the locker room. Fowler will still sign a four-year, $23 million guaranteed contract with a fifth-year team option. Fowler was practicing under an injury waiver. Fowler had 14½ sacks in three years at Florida, including 8½ last season. On Twitter, Fowler wrote that he'll return "better than ever."
