Jaguars waive WR Jason Hill
The day after the upheaval in Jacksonville, the Jaguars were still busy tweaking things as Mel Tucker takes over as interim coach.
The most notable move of the day was the Jaguars waiving wide receiver Jason Hill, who earlier in the year made news by saying he believed the New York Jets and cornerback Darrelle Revis were "overhyped." To that remark, Revis said of Hill, "I don't even know who that dude is."
Apparently, the Jaguars no longer want to know Hill either, as they cut him from the roster to make room for cornerback Morgan Trent. The Jags also elevated running back DuJuan Harris from the practice squad to the 53-man roster and put safety Courtney Greene on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
In 10 games this season, Hill had 25 receptions for 367 yards and three touchdowns.
