Jeremy Maclin says he's recovered from ACL tear

After releasing DeSean Jackson earlier this offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles will need their receiving group to fil the void.

The main player that will need to elevate his game is Jeremy Maclin, who missed the 2013 season after tearing his ACL during training camp a year ago. Maclin figures to see even more looks than he did prior to his injury now that Jackson's gone.

Speaking to, Maclin said his ACL has fully recovered and that he's ready to go. Maclin added that if training camp started now, he'd be able to participate without any limitations.

From 2009-2012, Maclin caught 258 passes for 3,453 yards and 26 touchdowns. Primarily a No. 2 receiver in Philadelphia's offense, he has yet to record a 1,000-yard season, though he did come close in 2010 with 964 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Maclin should make a run at that mark this season in a wide-open offense where he could wind up being the primary deep threat.
