Jermaine Kearse flashes skills for Seahawks
It was a sterling game for Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jermaine Kearse, who's making up for the loss of Percy Harvin to hip surgery.
Kearse returned a kickoff 107 yards for a touchdown and also caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson during a 40-10 win over the Denver Broncos.
"They came to me and asked if I could return and I wasn't going to say no," Kearse said. "I got some reps during the week and on Friday coach [Pete] Carroll told me I was going to be able to get the first one. It was definitely a blessing."
Wilson was sharp, too, completing 8 of 12 passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns.
