Jerry Jones admits Dez Bryant's status for Sunday iffy

Jerry Jones has played both sides of the coin now.

The Dallas Cowboys owner said this morning on his radio show that wide receiver Dez Bryant might not be ready to go Sunday when the team faces the San Francisco 49ers.

That’s a new position from the one Jones took just a day before when Jones made it clear Bryant would be ready for the game. Bryant suffered a strained quad in the opener last Sunday night against the New York Jets and there were rumblings the owner didn’t want to see his 2010 first-round draft pick on special teams anymore.

Now, the team is monitoring Bryant’s status, according to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, and it’s too early to make a call on whether he will play or not.
