Jets' Cromartie suffers bruised lungs

A week after being the AFC's Defensive Player of the Week, New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie had a forgettable game against the Oakland Raiders.

Not only did he fumble a kickoff that turned into a Raiders score, but he also suffered bruised lungs (something that just the thought of sounds extremely painful).

According to the New York Daily News, Cromartie's return to the lineup will be about how much pain he can tolerate.

The Jets may also have lost tight end Jeff Cumberland to an Achilles injury.
