The Philadelphia Eagles are cutting quarterback Tim Tebow after signing him to a one-year contract earlier this year, a league source confirmed.
Tebow has been out of the league since the New England Patriots cut him in August of 2013.
The Eagles already have four quarterbacks on the roster: Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and G.J. Kinne.
Tebow was with the New York Jets in 2012 when he was teammates with Sanchez.
Tebow had been working for the SEC Network as an analyst.
He's been working out in Los Angeles with Tom House, Tom Brady's private quarterbacks coach.
