Jets cutting Percy Harvin today

The New York Jets are cutting wide receiver Percy Harvin today, a league source confirmed. Harvin was due $10.5 million in 2015. Acquired in a trade last season from the Seattle Seahawks, Harvin would have cost the Jets a fourth-round draft pick if he had remained on the roster. Now, the Seahawks will just get a sixth-round draft pick. Harvin is expected to have a healthy market as a free agent. Harvin is a former Minnesota Vikings first-round draft pick from Florida.
