The New York Jets have fired personnel director Brendon Prophett and five scouts. Prophett was the director of pro personnel for nine years. Also fired: college scouts Rick Courtright, David Hinson, Cole Hufnagel, Chris Prescott and Seth Turner. "I appreciate their contributions to the organization and wish them the best in the future," general manager Mike Maccagnan said in a statement.
