Jets' Holmes rips Giants 'poor tackling' secondary

Enough of the chatter.

The talk back and forth between two middle-of-the-pack teams has been virtually non-stop since the week began. The latest to chime in is Jets receiver Santonio Holmes, who called the Giants "poor tackling," and appparently is expecting to have a big game on Saturday.

“They’ve given up big plays,” Holmes told CBS New York. “They’re poor tackling guys. We know plays can be made over their heads. We’ve just got to be willing to take advantage of them and make them count.”

Asked about Giants defensive back Corey Webster, who has five interceptions this season, Holmes said,
“I can’t wait to see him come Saturday. I hope he’s ready to bring his ‘A’ game.”

Does Holmes believe Webser has played well?

“I could care less,” he said.
