Jets' Leonhard hurts knee, out for game
New York Jets' safety Jim Leonhard hurt his right knee in the second quarter on Sunday. He's out for the remainder of the game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Leonhard fell to the turf after intercepting a pass from Chiefs' quarterback Tyler Palko. Team trainers came out and attended to Leonhard on the field. He was then taken to the locker room.
Brodney Pool is in for Leonhard on defense. Jeremy Kerley has been put in for punt returns, filling in for Leonhard.
