Jets' Moore could miss Sunday vs. Chiefs

New York Jets guard Brandon Moore watched Friday's practice because of soreness in his hips, and Coach Rex Ryan told the New York Daily News, Moore will have to pass a conditioning test during Sunday's pre-game to play against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Moore said he is planning to play in the game for the 7-5 Jets, who need to win to keep up in the AFC wild-card playoff chase. New York is one of four teams entering the weekend at 7-5 and vying for the last playoff berth.

Moore has made 117 consecutive starts and said, "“I feel a little odd not being out there, at least moving around, I’ve been limited in practice before, maybe not taken as many reps in previous seasons from an injury or something, but never completely being out for a whole week. It’s more mental, maybe more film, turning your brain on a little more than in the past and working through things in your head.”
